Clean Your Fridge Pasta

GET YOUR FRIDGE CLEAN  It's time to clean your fridge and restock it! So for this purpose, there is no better dish to make than a pasta dish! For mine, the ingredients got a bit too fancy because in Montenegro prosciutto is not really a fancy food and is quite accessible and affordable. So for this recipe, we will be using common household ingredients and we will 100% be getting freestyle creative.  I will write out a common recipe for two different pasta sauce bases, and as for the other odd ingredients you would like me to make a base for, feel free to comment or reach out in any way!  So our pasta sauces today are going to be ONION CREAM and TOMATO GARLIC. These will be the base for the rest of the cleaning of the fridge, and your obligation will then be to match flavors. The matching should not be based on a perfect cooking pairing but solely on your taste buds, this is the first step to learning how to trust yourself in the kitchen.  I assume you own some...

Eastern Europe's Potato Pie

When I first found a recipe on how to make your own pie crust the nice Bosnian lady in the video said to knead the dough until your arms hurt, and it was the most accurate description there ever was for this recipe!  Quick disclaimer : I made potato pie today, but in reality, this pie crust can be used for all, I will also include a cheese-spinach filling that I usually make.  Ingredients:  Pie crust: 600 grams of flour, separated into two servings, 300 grams each.  150-200 ml of warm water  1 big spoon of salt Stuffing:  1 kg of potatoes  2 onions  7 grams of ground pepper  1 big spoon of salt  Pie crust:  This is going to be the simplest recipe to follow! Get a bowl and combine your flour, salt and water, and knead until your hands hurst and the dough feels soft and not sticky. If you see that it needs some more flour in order to be less sticky, feel free to add some and knead.  After that,...

Blasphemous curry

Rushing through recipes and food is like rushing through the talking stage. We would all love that, but the taste in the end really does a bang-up job at explaining why in food and love, patience is key and you really shouldn't rush.  Let's get to my favorite labor of love. Ingredients, marinating, and then cooking. Today we will be making the first meal I learned how to make because I fell in love with a restaurant dish.    Quick disclaimer : This is not ''real'' Indian curry, so do not come for me. This is my version of chicken with rice that just so happens to center around curry as a spice mix, so I am shamelessly trying to capitalize on the name CURRY.   Ingredients: :  Chicken Breasts (500 gr) - you can do tofu and it would be equally good, maybe even better, so see how you're feeling and decide, I was feeling poultry, regretted it, but was feeling it (relationship flashbacks)  Golden Onions (1 big one) - We cov...
